EU delivery from three warehouses: how your order travels

XM Textiles ships from stock held in three European warehouses — Poland (Gdańsk), Romania and Portugal. That is why most EU orders arrive in days rather than the weeks typical for fabric imported to order. This guide explains how your order travels, what free delivery covers, and why an order occasionally arrives as more than one parcel.

Three warehouses, one order

When you check out, the system allocates your basket against live stock in all three warehouses and picks the fewest shipments that can cover it — usually just one. If part of your order is stocked in a different country than the rest, it is dispatched from there as a separate delivery with its own tracking number. You still pay at most one delivery fee per order, and each delivery is invoiced with the correct VAT for its route.

What delivery costs

• Orders of €100 or more (incl. VAT) ship free to every EU country. For zero-VAT orders (reverse charge or export invoicing) the €100 threshold is counted on the ex-VAT total.
• Flame-retardant fabrics and FR reflective tapes ship free anywhere in the EU from one full roll — no threshold.
• Below the threshold, the delivery price is calculated from the weight of your order and the destination country, and shown at checkout before you confirm anything.
• Very heavy or oversized orders, and destinations outside the EU, are quoted individually by a manager before you pay.

Times are counted from the moment the order is handed to the courier. Parcel and roll orders travel with DHL or DB Schenker; as soon as a shipment is handed over you receive an e-mail with the tracking number, and you can follow every delivery from your account.

Outside the European Union

We deliver beyond the EU as well — the delivery is quoted individually at checkout or by a manager, and any import duties, taxes and local charges are paid by the recipient. Invoicing for export orders is issued at 0% VAT with export documentation.
