SONORA-185 AS

Flame retardant fabric Sonora-185AS is a lightweight protective fabric for hot climates made from 80% cotton, 19% polyester and 1% antistatic in a plain 1/1 weave. It is a good choice for flame-retardant shirts or other light flame-retardant garments. The areas of use for Sonora fr-fabric could be oil & gas transportation (pipeline workers), petrochemical (refinery workers), utilities (electric/water/gas service company workers) etc. A high quality cotton-rich blend, enhanced by the addition of polyester, ensures that Sonora-185 FR fabric combines the comfort of natural fibres with the durability, higher tensile strength and better colour fastness of polyester. Antistatic yarn is embedded in the weave of Sonora-185 AS. These carbon fibres give the wearer extra protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), which can be dangerous in explosive atmospheres in refineries or oil terminals.
