Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

XM Textiles is committed to making the online store at eshop.xmtextiles.com accessible to persons with disabilities, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its national implementing legislation.

2. Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, as referenced by the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. Based on a self-assessment, the Store is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: most of the Store meets the guidelines, but some content does not yet fully conform.

3. What we have done

• the Store can be operated with a keyboard alone — navigation menus, search, catalog filters and all custom controls follow the relevant WAI-ARIA design patterns;
• pages use semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and visible focus indicators;
• text and interface colours are designed to meet WCAG contrast requirements, and the layout adapts to enlarged text and small screens;
• product images carry text alternatives.

4. Known limitations

• technical datasheets and certificates are provided as PDF files, some produced by third parties, and may not be fully accessible to screen readers — contact us for the information they contain in an accessible form;
• some product photography does not yet have detailed image descriptions;
• the Store is under active development, and individual pages may temporarily fall short of the guidelines. Accessibility is reviewed as part of ongoing development.

6. Enforcement procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the market surveillance authority responsible for the accessibility of e-commerce services in your EU member state of residence.

This statement was prepared on 15 July 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment of the Store against WCAG 2.1 level AA.
