Yellow-Silver FR Reflective Trim provides flame retardant protection certified to NFPA 2112 & EN 469. It is designed for FR clothing and firefighter uniforms. This tape resists heat and fire while maintaining high visibility. It can be sewn on FR-jackets, pants or turnout gear. This reflective material is a textile fabric coated with a layer of resin with numerous glass micro-lenses impregnated into this layer with a special adhesive. Light is reflected from these micro-lenses and bounces back to a car (or other light source), making the person wearing reflective tape more visible in the dark.

Certified performance

Industrial wash

50 × 75°C

EN ISO 15797, tumble-dried

Certified after 50 full industrial laundry cycles at 75°C (70°C tumble drying, EN ISO 15797, table 4 procedure 2) — the regime used by professional workwear laundries.
PDry cleaning

30 cycles

EN ISO 3175-2

The certified performance was evaluated after 30 professional dry-cleaning cycles using EN ISO 3175-2. Follow the finished garment's care label.
Heat resistance

180°C

5 min oven test, after washing

After 50 industrial washes the material withstands 180°C for 5 minutes (ISO 17493) with no ignition, melting or delamination.
Antistatic

EN 1149-5

passes after 50 industrial washes

The certificate records a compliant electrostatic result. This material result is only one part of a safe garment system; correct design, wear and earthing still matter in explosive atmospheres.

Certified to

EN ISO 11612Heat & flame protection
Heat- and flame-protective clothing
The core industrial heat-and-flame standard. Code letters grade each hazard: A flame spread, B convective heat, C radiant heat, D molten aluminium, E molten iron, F contact heat — higher numbers, better protection.
Verified after 50 industrial washes at 75°C.
EN 1149-5Antistatic (ATEX areas)
Electrostatic-dissipative clothing
For electrostatic-dissipative protective clothing used in explosive atmospheres: EN 1149-3 measures material charge decay, while EN 1149-5 sets material performance and garment design requirements.
Verified after 50 industrial washes at 75°C.
EN ISO 20471Hi-vis workwear — Yellow-Silver
High-visibility clothing
The EU standard for garments that must keep you visible day and night. Colour, luminance and retroreflection are tested new and after washing, abrasion, flexing, cold folding, temperature swings and rain.
Verified after 50 industrial washes at 75°C.
EN 469Firefighter gear — Index 3
Structural firefighting clothing
Approved for firefighters' turnout gear: flame spread index 3, no melting or dripping, and full retroreflective performance kept after 180°C heat exposure.
Verified after 50 industrial washes at 75°C.
EN ISO 15384Wildland fire gear — A1
Wildland firefighting clothing
For wildland/forest firefighting clothing: flame spread class A1/A2 and heat resistance at 260°C verified after 50 washes.
Verified after 50 industrial washes at 75°C.

Industrial wash, domestic wash and dry cleaning — what's the difference?

Industrial laundering. EN ISO 15797 simulates professional industrial laundry with controlled washing and finishing procedures.

Domestic laundering. EN ISO 6330 uses standardized household-machine programmes. It is not the same as industrial laundering; follow the finished garment's care label.

P

Professional dry cleaning. A defined professional solvent-cleaning procedure. It does not cover every solvent or process; follow the finished garment's care label.

Details & Care

  • Normal wash at water temperature up to 75°C
  • Bleaching is prohibited
  • Gentle tumble drying at a reduced temperature of 60°C, reduced drying time and reduced load size
  • Ironing at a soleplate temperature of up to 110 °C - corresponds to the symbol in the form of a single dot on the iron's thermostat. Ironing with steam can cause irreversible damage to the material being processed
  • Normal dry cleaning using tetrachloroethylene

Area of use: Heat and Flame Protection Clothing, High Visibility Clothing

Frequently asked questions

Can I order less than a full roll?

Yes — every fabric can be cut to length from one metre at the listed price, with no cutting surcharge. A full roll (50–70 m of fabric, 100 m of reflective tape) is the better deal for production runs: trade accounts get individual roll and volume pricing.

How long does delivery take?

Orders ship from warehouse stock in Poland, Romania and Portugal: 1–2 business days within Poland, 2–7 business days across the EU, 4–10 outside it. Orders of €100 or more (incl. VAT) ship free to every EU country.

Do the prices include VAT?

Catalogue prices are shown ex-VAT, because the correct rate depends on who is buying and where the order ships from. Checkout shows the exact VAT for your order before you pay — EU businesses with a valid VAT number buy cross-border at 0% under reverse charge.

Is the stock reserved once I order?

Yes. The moment you place an order, the quantity is booked for you in the warehouse for seven days — time enough to arrange payment and paperwork. Availability shown on this page is live warehouse stock.

Can I return fabric?

Uncut rolls and packed accessories — yes, consumers have the statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Fabric cut to your metreage is exempt by EU law (it is cut for you from a larger roll), so order a test metre first if you need to verify the material. Details in the returns guide.
